RTI courses are built to IADLEST standards, which means the curriculum, documentation, and instructional design meet the requirements most state POST offices recognize for reciprocity. Idaho POST-certified hours are accepted by many agencies outside Idaho, but acceptance varies by state. Contact your state POST office with the course syllabus and we will provide whatever documentation they need to make the approval process straightforward.
Online courses are self-paced and available immediately after enrollment. Officers work through the curriculum on their own schedule and receive a certificate of completion when they finish. In-person delivery brings the instructor to your agency for cohort training, which works better for hands-on content, practical exercises, and situations where you need to move a group through certification together. Most RTI courses are available in both formats.

Every RTI course generates a certificate of completion with the officer's name, course title, credit hours, and completion date. Online courses do not have a hard expiration date. Officers can work through the curriculum at their own pace and pick up where they left off between shifts. If your agency has a specific completion deadline, we can accommodate that in the enrollment documentation. Every online course includes access for life and all future updates.
